Dr. Fern Pinkston (she/her)

Bespoke Healing

Dr. Pinkston is a queer Licensed Clinical Psychologist, educator, consultant, and writer based in Chicago, IL. She has lived and worked in Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and Wisconsin and comes from a family of public school teachers. Dr. Pinkston teaches in the Clinical PsyD program at Adler University and the Masters in Counseling Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a former Training Director and currently supervises post-masters and post-doctoral trainees, providing mentorship to future first-generation business owners. She has conducted workshops, continuing education, and retreats for such diverse audiences as the Kankakee Health Department, the Winter Roundtable at Teacher’s College at Columbia University, and Fifth Third Bank’s corporate offices. An experienced facilitator, she is adept at providing didactic, experiential, panel-style, and virtual instruction.

All those times thinking “I wish I would’ve known that!” have translated to a life-long passion for demystifying career development, organizational leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work.
